Project 3 — 28 weeks of Vegetarianism

I’ve been thinking of becoming vegetarian for a while now, partly from an animal welfare and health perspective but predominantly due to environmental reasons. At the end of the day I don’t believe our current approach to rearing and producing meat is sustainable. One of the best ways to counter this is to reduce the demand that exists for meat and this has to start at an individual level.

So I’ve decided Project 3 will see me give up meat for at least 28 weeks (6+ months). I’m going to start with a Pescatarian approach (i.e. I can eat fish) and plan to write follow ups on a monthly basis to track how I find it.
