Inception of “Project Menuva”
We are proud to finally present You our project that we have been working on for quite some time now — Menuva.
Menuva is a secure payment platform that adjusts the payments to customer needs. While developing Menuva we had in mind both buyers and sellers who will use our platform. We are the one of a kind solution for all Your needs when it comes to accepting and paying with cryptocurrencies.
At this point You probably are asking how we are different from any other currency especially since we are an ERC20 project. Well Menuva is more than just a coin, it is a whole new platform with so many unique features that You often find on our centralized rivals. We bring the best from traditional centralized solutions like PayPal,Stripe,eBay, Amazon and others as well as the unique aspect of crypto world. We strive to be a decentralized gateway for centralized stores. Here are just few main things that should differentiate us from others:
DACP (Dynamically Adjusted Currency Protocol) — developing our own protocol for our platform enabled us to prevent sellers from losing money when accepting cryptocurrencies. This means that all transactions that are in escrow will be saved in FIAT at the best exchange rates at the time of the transaction. This will also allow simple one click currency conversions. We are constantly looking at the technology advances in this fields and we already have plans to adopt atomic swaps and decentralized exchanges
ESCROW — one of our main solutions to fight against fraud is escrow. This means that until buyer is not satisfied with the product the money will not be released. We are putting a lot of effort into creating and adjusting this feature. We built in so many things that we are simply astonished what we created from a simple escrow solution. DACP, P2P chat, dispute system, rating are just a part a part of the systems we will use
DISPUTE RESOLUTION — we know that sometimes You are not able to come to an agreement with the seller and the problem needs to be escalated to someone who is not in association with either side. For resolving any disagreements between buyers and sellers we opted out for arbitration. The dispute will be decided by two persons (arbitrators). If those two arbitrators do not agree, then a third arbitrator with higher trust is chosen and will rule in one’s favour.
P2P CHAT — One of the most important things for keeping the buyer satisfied is the constant communication between sellers and buyers. IPFS (InterPlanetary File System) is the solution for keeping all the chat decentralized and secured. This P2P chat system is crucial to the dispute system as it maintains the privacy and will be visible to arbitrators when needed and only the information that is necessary for them to make the judgment will be visible!
SMARTCONTRACT CREATOR — This part is the vital part of our platform. Those contracts will enable buyers to set a simple pre-set payment conditions. We will simplify the usage of the smartcontracts by providing an out-of-the-box solution with some already precompiled contracts. Those precompiled smartcontracts will cover various fields. Currently, we are working on smartcontracts for virtual assets (in-game currencies, skins, keys), software development (milestone money release), and physical items (tracking information).
