100 in 1 Day is Back in 5 Canadian Cities

The beginning of June not only marks the return (finally) of warm weather to most Canadian cities, but it also signals that 100in1Day, one of our favourite community engagement initiatives of all time, is right around the corner (Saturday, June 4, to be exact).

The idea behind 100in1Day is right in the name: 100 urban interventions, or acts of civic engagement, run by members of the public and all happening on the same day. It’s about simple ideas that make our cities better.

This year, 100in1Day is taking place in a record 5 Canadian cities: Halifax, Hamilton, Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver. And for the third year in a row, we’re thrilled to provide the platform that the project managers use to organize initiative info, coordinate with their teams and enable the public to submit their intervention ideas.
