Dear Friends,
Here are the results of the last challenge:
- The State of being by Anna Rozwadowska, a lovely poem that blends sensation and nature with the moving of the inner soul.
- Saving my First Love on Valentine’s Day by Ivvie Ivanova, a humorous and gentle twist of prose about finding love in the modern world.
- Everything Happened in February by Jordan Aspen, a rollercoaster review of her most recent Februaries with all their action, ups, downs, and changes.
- Every Love Story is Beautiful by Tammi Brownlee, a personal story about the little details that affect relationships. I liked the focus on the small things instead of trying to make sweeping statements or commentary.
Natalie and I are very pleased with the variety of our entries: Poetry, fiction, prose, light, heartwarming… We couldn’t be happier at how free you writers are to write what you want with the prompts. Thanks for making our month!
February’s challenge was fun, but we are eager to dive back into fiction again. In March we want to talk travel with you.
Specifically, travel preparation. What does someone take with them when they go? Here is the full prompt:
And here is a sample piece:
Hopefully you had a great Leap Day and are looking forward to a wonderful March, making tracks forward in your own story — and inky tracks forward in all the ones you will tell.
Best Wishes,
Paul
