New Promposity Halloween Contest for Scary Flash Fiction and Poetry!

Promposity is throwing a new contest for Halloween and wants your work!

Are you one of those people who loves Halloween, looking forward to it every year? Do you carve a pumpkin for the doorstep? Put up scary decorations in the yard? Cue up a list of horror films you start watching weeks before? Throw a costume party with a spooky theme for like minded friends?

If you enjoy Halloween activities as much as I do, then this contest is for you! We’re calling for your best, scary flash fiction and poetry.

Here are the rules:

  • Story or poem must be scary
  • Story or poem must be between 100 and 300 words
  • Story or poem must be original and your own
  • Story or poem may not be published elsewhere
  • Story or poem must have a title (does NOT count in word count)
  • Submissions should include one tag that is either flash flash fiction or poetry
  • Story or poetry must be submitted as a draft
  • Each submission must include a high quality copyright free photo with appropriate credits listed below.
  • You may include up to two links to other pieces on Medium at the bottom of your submission.
