A Light in the Night
There is a star

Sometimes I am startled from sleep
I watch
between the night and the sky
between the sky and nothing
where suffering from restlessness
there is a star
of which the world says
that it would have been gone long ago
even if we
still see it shine
I am sometimes worried
by these stories
when I look
at the flame of love
between the two of us
still shining
