Celebrate
The emergence of Danu
Earth Mother Goddess
From dark, winter sleep
Into victorious Spring
And enchanted Summer
When all of Nature
Fertile, grows.

The Bright One, Bel
Showers distilled, stellar glory
On Earth, waking her up
To the maternal destiny
That creates all living things.

The Celtic God,
The Gaelic Word,
Leaping flames at night
Reflecting brilliance of Sun
When we need
Both Word and God,
Can Beltane be decadent?
