Cats or Dogs
I hate this question!
No one has any right,
To ask me this question,
Even God too,
Do you want a cat or a dog?
I don't know what to answer.
Can’t you see their divine eyes?
Can’t you see their innocent look?
What else do you want to know?
Both of them are the real God,
In the form of cats and dogs.
If you ask me with the word or,
I suggest you replace it with the word and,
If you ask me to gift me a cat or a dog,
Please give me both,
If you can’t afford them both,
Forget the gift,
As I love them both.
Again,
No more or for them,
Only and.
Think before you ask,
Watch their eyes before you question,
I swear,
You will not ask this question anymore.
Thank you so much for the thought-provoking prompt, Ravyne Hawke. Promptly written is a wonderful publication that offers great prompts. I really enjoyed it!
If you are interested to know more about my lovely cat, you can read this poem too. If I get a dog soon, will share it as well. ;)
