Journey of gratitude
Satan has been overruled

Continuing to write
Reach cruising altitude
The blue skies blankets multitude’s

Then I see a darkness
Consuming the starkness
Swallowing my lightness

He comes to devour
Minute to minute
Hour to hour

Stark white canvas
painted black
My arms
Full of tracks

It’s all an illusion
See through the cracks
Of this delusion

A game being played
I am the piece
For which the chess board was made

His wickedness
Deceitfulness
I am the queen of deaths kiss

Wake up
I pound my fists

I take out my gratitude journal
