Desolation
Published in

The sea was close by me
Vowing intimacy for eternity
The silence of the waves was all ears
Something I always fancied
The moon was unmoved in awe
Beholding every peculiarity in me
The stars were offering companionship
Making it easier to stay lonely
The wind was chattering recklessly
To know you could never know of me
The sky screened me from every calamity
Adorning itself with many alluring finery
The ground held to bestow home to me
Wished me to live forever there happily
But believe it or not
I was only waiting for you utterly
