Heartbeats
A poem about the power of the beating heart of a forest when you are connected to nature and the beauty that arises when she opens her heart to you.
Tu-tump.
Feel it beating,
Living all around you.
Watching you walk through; guiding true.
Ba-dum.
Mother,
Calling us in.
The rhythm of our hearts beat;
To the forest’s deep calm replete.
Bum-bum.
Tranquil,
Gracious silence.
Mother brings revival;
Refill yourself for survival.
Thump-thump.
Fresh air,
Caressing breeze.
Soothing meditation;
She reaches for her creation.
Mmm-mmm
Whispers,
Soft voice on air.
Come child, visit my soul;
You find it, sitting on a knoll.
Heartbeat.
