When considering the temperature,
we all have our preferences;
the ideal thermostat reading for sleep,
the internal degree of cooked meat,
the perfect weather,
what works best when our muscles need relief.
We think of temperature in extremes
or within a defined range.
Uniquely connected to our emotions.
A result of sensory information
and physiological change.

Hot linked to positivity.
The words
heartwarming,
and a warm hug
utilized in colloquial language
by different cultures.
Both have a similar meaning.
Cold is often negative–
relating to discomfort.
Think of the word chilling.
It describes fear, but it’s also a mood.
A time to enjoy the calm–
to sit back,
and relax.
