I cannot go today

I’m glued to the couch

Donuts and coffee on hand

I’m being such a slouch.

The sale at 50 percent off

Is nothing but a scam

They hiked the price before the discount

These sales are such a sham.

I want it but don’t need it

Says my brain to my heart

I’ll sit here like a bum

All day

And visualize an empty cart.

I saved some money
