midnight stroll
a spider webs his way
through darkness

I remember in my twenties that last call meant ordering and drinking anything your body and mind could soak up within the last few minutes. Then stumbling out in the darkness trying to find your way home.

Now it means having my last cup of coffee at night then hitting the bathroom before I go to bed at 9:00 pm.

Thank you to Ravyne Hawke for the Dec. 14th Daily special at Promptly Written.

Thank you for reading.
