Mending More Than Wounds
A soldier in need of help, and a woman who can’t turn her back on him.
A thump on the front door made Misty jump and drop her knitting needles. Her heart pounded against its confines as she slowly made her way forward. Taking in a deep breath, she slowly opened the door. An involuntary squeal escaped her lips when a man toppled over into her house.
