Sowing Seeds

Can you believe it is April already? We had an extended Winter here in Oklahoma, and I know many in parts of the US and Europe did as well. However, Spring has finally arrived! For most of us, this means it is time to plant gardens — vegetables, fruits, and flowers. It is also a time for renewal, growth, and lots of rain and sunshine so life around us can grow.

My hopes is that with the Monthly Theme and the Writing Sparks, you will embrace all things Spring. Let’s cast some seeds, shall we?

How To Use Monthly Themes

  1. Write specific poems, fiction, essays, or articles related to the theme — try using the Writing Sparks.
  2. Choose a Daily or Weekly prompt, or select a Writing Spark, and center your piece around the theme.
  3. Remember to tag your work appropriately and use ‘Monthly Theme’ as one of your tags if your work is centered around the theme.
