Springing into action
I don’t know about you, but I am definitely ready for Spring! This winter has been brutal in so many ways, but especially because of the weird weather. Don’t get me wrong, I love winter — the cold, the snow, the snuggling under blankets — but this winter has been everything but those things. The weather has been all over the place and it has put me in a sour mood. So I have high hopes that Spring will be more stable.
When I think of Spring, it harkens me back to my childhood. This was always a season of doingness. The windows and doors would be wide open and deep cleaning would commence. Dad would be actively prepping the garden. And we kids would be spending more time outdoors. Our lives centered around activities from finishing school for the year to getting the home ready for a busy summer of canning season. These days, I am less physically active, but my mind is always a~buzz with activities during Spring — writing and art, specifically. And I wanted our theme for this month to reflect that. So let’s spring into action and see what the month holds for us, shall we?
