Moon rising
Crystallised by the last daylight
Halo sanctifying a heavenly body’s light
Shrouded by clouds, divine provision
A silver lining fleetingly given
Early evening yellow, as parchment of stories old
But time no meaning in the infinite deep cold
Shining bright white from the opposing sun light
Illuminating transition through the night
A measure of the night, for zenith to reach
Follows the arc, horizon to breach
