Movies To Watch (Christmas edition): “A Boy Called Christmas”. This Christmas movie with an edge is on Netflix. I watched it, because it is from the same creators as “Christmas Chronicles”. In a way, I loved it as well as felt a bit shocked at times. It is magical, mostly believable, moving as well as funny. There is great acting on all parts and it holds the attention right up to the end. Of course, when you include Maggie Smith, it is hard to get it wrong. The main part of the movie is bookcases within a story set in today’s world. However, pay close attention in the beginning, you will need it for the final scenes!

Summary
In this origin story of Father Christmas, an ordinary boy (with a loyal pet mouse and a reindeer at his side) sets out on an extraordinary adventure to find his father who is on a quest to discover the fabled village of Elfhelm. (Imdb.com)
