Can you bear the weight

Of these words every day?

Take the time.

Break them down.

Both the ‘new’ and the ‘year’

Become true only slowly.

Apply your solution

Just for the one day.

After 365 applications

You will find you are re-solved.

This is a wisdom

Too wise for me to keep.

Far better to give it away.
