“What’s that?”

“It’s a divining rod.”

“What ya gonna do with it?”

“I am searching for rainbows.”

“Why?”

“For an expert you sure do ask a lot of questions. You sound like an apprentice.”

“Sorry, I’ve just never seen anyone use a divining rod to find rainbows. Why not just follow the storms like the rest of us?”

“Because, chasing chaos to find beauty is not really my thing. Don’t you ever wonder what’s on the other side of a rainbow? Surely it’s not chaos.”

“I never gave it a thought. Besides, it’s not our job to see what’s on the other side.”

“Might not be your job, but I am making it mine.”

“So you think using a divining rod will prevent you from seeing the chaos and lead you to beauty instead?”

“Precisely.”

“Okay, good luck with that. There’s a storm coming so I have to go.”
