Pondering Ancient Greeks

Like ancient Greeks
I calculate the movements
of planetary Gods
traversing my world
in accordance to myths
Will my words gain favor
and will Hermes intercede?
Should I pray to Aphrodite
for a chance of true love?
Does my anger rouse Ares
or does it take a global affair
to set him on a wrathful path?
And…
