Welcome to the fifteenth week of writing prompts here at PW. My apologies for this being a bit late :::insert health excuse::: Remember, April is NaPoWriMo (National Poetry Writing Month)! If you are poetically-inclined, it would be a great time to attempt a poem-a-day. And maybe, just maybe, a prompt or two here will spark a poem for you!
Reminder #1 — You do not have to use just PW’s prompts to submit work here. We accept prompted work from any publications’ prompts. You also do not have to use prompts to submit your work here. We are also an open publication for established and new writers.
Reminder #2 — Please be sure to use the correct Reader Interest Tags when you submit your pieces so your work lands in their perspective places on the homepage. They are — Poetry, Fiction, Essay, or Articles. Please only use ONE, not multiples. Your other four tags can be whatever you wish them to be.
Reminder #3 — Please ONLY submit drafts. To do this, once you have finished your piece, instead of hitting the Publish button, click on the three dots (…), chose Add to Publication, click on Promptly Written, and then submit. This will put it into my queue and I will publish it on…
