Welcome to the sixteenth week of writing prompts here at PW. Can you believe that April is halfway over already? This month is flying by fast. Keep in mind that it is NAPOWRIMO and you can use any of the prompts to write poetry, even the fiction prompts.

Reminder #1 — You do not have to use just PW’s prompts to submit work here. We accept prompted work from any publications’ prompts. You also do not have to use prompts to submit your work here. We are also an open publication for established and new writers.

Reminder #2 — Please be sure to use the correct Reader Interest Tags when you submit your pieces so your work lands in their perspective places on the homepage. They are — Poetry, Fiction, Essay, or Articles. Please only use ONE, not multiple. Your other four tags can be whatever you wish them to be.

Reminder #3 — Please ONLY submit drafts. To do this, once you have finished your piece, instead of hitting the Publish button, click on the three dots (…), choose Add to Publication, click on Promptly Written, and then submit. This will put it into my queue, and I will publish it on my end.
