Welcome to the twenty-second week of writing prompts here at PW. Since we are moving into the month of June, I’ve decided to make a few changes to how I present the prompts. If you wrote for PW back when I first began it in October 2021, I had a running theme for PW — that of an old-world-styled pub — think an old Irish or English pub. After discussing with jules - Miz Mindful and her reminding me of how I used to run PW, I’ve decided to resurrect that theme. So welcome back to the Pub!

Reminder #1 — You do not have to use just PW’s prompts to submit work here. We accept prompted work from any publications’ prompts. You also do not have to use prompts to submit your work here. We are also an open publication for established and new writers.

Reminder #2 — Please be sure to use the correct Reader Interest Tags when you submit your pieces so your work lands in their perspective places on the homepage. They are — Poetry, Fiction, Essay, or Articles. Please only use ONE, not multiple. Your other four tags can be whatever you wish them to be.
