Greetings me lovelies! Welcome to PW’s first contest of 2023! This one will be a spring/autumn-themed essay writing contest. Yes, there will be prompts and yes, there will be monetary prizes! Let’s get into the details, shall we?

THE RULES

  1. You must be a writer for Promptly Written to participate. If you are not already a writer for PW, you can ask to be a writer over at the Submissions Guidelines page. Please do not ask to be a writer in the comments of this contest.
  2. The contest will run from March 1st — April 30th, 2023.
  3. The announcement for the winners will be May 15th, 2023.
  4. You may submit up to three (3) essays.
  5. Each essay must be greater than 1000 words, but no longer than 3000 words. Yes, I will be checking your word count.
  6. You must use ‘Spring Essay Writing Contest response’ as your Subtitle. Your Title can be whatever you wish it to be.
  7. Each submission must be accompanied with a properly cited Image from a FREE image source (Unsplash, Pexels, or Pixaby) or created by you. (This should…
