Resolve is a matter
of fists and jaws
clenched and tight
ignoring the sting
of sweat in determined
eyes fixed and deadly
I will walk this road at this pace
I will wrap my fears in a napkin
To resolve a matter
may require a loosening
of fists and jaws
ignoring the sting
of compromise in glad
eyes ready to forgive
We will walk this road with hands clasped
We will drop our fears like breadcrumbs
