The 1 Hour Call
A series of short stories “The Dots”
The phone rang and Kristina picked it up. “Hi, yes”
“Oh Kristina dear, we have not met before but we will come to know each other very soon. Please do not hang up and listen to me once.” Kristina was too confused when he continued talking again. His voice was so soothing and gentle that Kristina was actually unable to cut the line. She just continued listening.
After some introductory lines, then he told her an interesting story of the mystic Rumi and his beloved teacher Shams. He narrated the story in such a spontaneous and interesting way that she heard him talking for one hour. He was a hell of a storyteller wow. She thought while enjoying his story. He had something magical in his tone and words.
It was the first time she attended an unknown call for 1 hour. Talking to him was like floating in space, traveling in time. A dream, that takes you into another world of possibilities away from space and time.
