Today’s Poetry prompt

Write a poem about a moment in your life when dark clouds had gathered only to be followed later in the day by a beautiful sunset. This can be a literal event of a ‘day’ or a ‘day’ of grand strife that you endured followed by a great outcome by day’s end.

Poetry Form — Any
Word Length — Any
Restrictions — None

Today’s Fiction prompt

Write a story in 3rd Person POV (Point of View) about a teenager or elderly person (or both?) embarking on an adventure. You decide the adventure (or perhaps a misadventure?). Will there be conflicts? Grand achievements? Or?

Word Length — up to 1000 words
Restrictions — must be in 3rd Person POV

‘Restrictions’ are to challenge you as a writer. However, with everything else here at PW, use these prompts in any way that allows the creative juices to flow.

Write promptly and enjoy! And don’t forget about the Monthly Theme!
