I am not quite sure what it is about a Welsh accent that just thrills me. I have recordings of me favorite Welsh poet, Dylan Thomas, that I can listen to over and over again, ad nauseam. And there is a Youtuber who is Welsh who can cheer me up in a nanosecond! His vlogs are generally three hours long. There aren’t many people who can keep me captivated that long, but this guy does.

He’s a leader in one of the strange circles of friends I hang around with online. He’s a flat-earther (I’m not), he’s a truthseeker, into Tartarian research, mudfloods, and resets. Most of that is alternative history stuff. What makes his shows so fun to watch is his Welsh humor. His humor is sometimes goofy, but if you’ve ever watched Eddie Izzard, well a lot of his humor reminds me of Izzard — just don’t tell me Welshman that!

Today (Sunday) has been one of those difficult days. I’ve had an ongoing migraine since late Saturday night and my limbs don’t want to quite carry my weight. I’ve also had zero energy and spent most of the day lying in bed, even if I’ve not been sleeping. So I am sure you can understand that my mood hasn’t been the greatest.
