Last month we delved into the nature of being a writer… what brought you here, what your process is and how it’s evolved and changed alongside your life, and most importantly for the majority of us on Medium, what it means to be a writer in the age of instant publishing to a world wide audience.

As I sit here on April Fool’s Day I’m wondering at all the superstitions we carry around with us. Stories from childhood, morality tales and warnings echoing down from one generation to the next, shaping our habits and behaviours, often without real awareness on our part.

Casey introduced us to old superstition poems in her prompts recently and it got me thinking and wondering what are the little things you do, or perhaps won’t do…
