Violet Iris

Violet poetry challenge

Fluttering
as butterfly wings
pirouette across
A Spring breeze
violet Iris sits firm
among lush greenery
displaying her confidence above April rains.

She tells of magical tales
With wisdom and creativity
as her independent nature has been through
storms and sun-drenched earth,

Coloring our world with soft violet petals.
