Private dick Nick Tracy looked out his office window. He didn’t want his potential client to see him roll his eyes. How many sob stories had he heard just like this one?

She called herself Nancy Draw. At first glance, anyone would be stunned by her beauty. Long and lanky, Nick guessed her to be at least 5’9”, without the three-inch heels she was wearing.

Her attire was immaculate. A long azure blue sundress perfectly accentuated her inviting blue eyes while exposing her Greek goddess figure. He guessed her age to be somewhere in the early thirties. “You can swim in those eyes,” thought Nick.

“So you can understand my predicament, right”? asked Nancy while making her plea sound like that of a little girl asking daddy for candy.

“I can see you are in a pickle. I will be honest with you Mrs. Draw. I normally refrain from taking cases involving ex-spouses. They seldom end harmoniously.”

“I would be fine if it ended badly for that cheating bastard,” she replied venomously.

Nick’s eyebrows raised as he witnessed this demonization momentarily occur. He swore he saw her eyes turn red. Either she is evil incarnate disguised as a beautiful, fragile young woman, or she has truly suffered at the hands of her husband.
