Launch and Initial Development
The project started with the successful platform launch, creating a marketplace for AI-prompts, AI-arts as NFTs. Currently, the platform supports three blockchains - Polygon, BNB and Tezos.
We witnessed a steady increase in the number of prompts, AI-works. This growth is attributed to the contribution of the user community, who have submitted a diverse range of prompts across various domains such as text-to-image and text-to-knowledge prompts.
Accepted into the Fuelarts x Tezos Accelerator Program
PromptSea has been accepted into the FuelArts x Tezos accelerator program, which is an ArtTech-focused accelerator. The program runs from February until the end of April 2023 and includes nine other startups from across the globe.
During the program, the team has gained valuable insights and learned about the foundations of art and NFTs from industry experts.
Additionally, we have deepened our understanding of the Tezos blockchain ecosystem, including the overall and tools for Tezos-based applications. These learnings helped us launch on the Tezos Mainnet within a month.
Interviewed by TechCrunch
The team has been interviewed by TechCrunch, a leading technology media outlet from the US. This interview provided us with an opportunity to share the features and advantages of PromptSea as a Web3-based platform compared to Web2-based platforms, the benefits it offers to creators and users.
The article also featured insights from other players in the market, providing a comprehensive overview of the current landscape and highlighting the diverse range of solutions available in the AI-prompt marketplace.
The Next PromptSea
During our journey, we have listened to the concerns from the AI-generated content community about various challenges related to the works produced by AI.
There are 3 essential modules necessary for creating AI-generated content — the prompt, the AI model, and the memory.
The problem regards around the data used to train AI models, which has been collected without permission from the original creators. This led to potential copyright issues with the AI-works.
We propose a solution to address the copyright issue by introducing two additional components.
- Vector Database — aka. AI-native database, all prompt data will be migrated to a vector database built for Web3 being developed by our team. This approach helps prevent the listing of similar prompts that can generate the same result.
- ZKML — Stands for Zero-Knowledge Machine Learning. It’s a technology that wraps an AI model trained on data with permission from its creators. The owner of the prompt NFT can execute the generation of the image without knowing the exact prompt using the ZKML-based AI model, ensuring source validation and legal recognition of the results.
The next for PromptSea is to bringing technology from the Web3 ecosystem to address the challenges in the field of AI, our goal is to revolutionize the way content is created, empowering individual creators and studios to take control of their work and bypass traditional middlemen.
We believe we’re leading the charge in the next wave of creativity and commerce. Whether you’re an artist looking to showcase your work, a writer looking to publish your novel, or a fan looking to support your favorite creators, PromptSea is here to help.
