The low-pitched whine of the airplane engines added just enough of a buzz to lull me to sleep. In seat 20C (a window seat), mile-high meditations and seats that only inclined to a 105-degree angle were enough to rock me away to some dream land only accompanied by the setting sun outside my window. We were about 16,000 feet in the sky sitting like sardines in a metal can that weighed somewhere in the vicinity of 800,000 pounds.

"The world is a book and those who do not travel read only one page." -St. Augustine

The concept of stories and travel go hand in hand. Some of the greatest tales I’ve ever heard were from people that experienced adventures pulling them out of their comfort zone into cultures and people on the other side of the world. When I see videos like Make it Count by Casey Neistat, I can’t help but think how awesome those experiences are and all the great stories that probably came from making this video. There’s something about picking up on small details when you’re first introduced to a place; the smell of the air, the geniality of the locals, the contrasting colors of the landscapes. It all adds to a great story, best told around a campfire under the moonlight somewhere in the deserts of Arizona.

Where have you been and what stories have come from it? Where do you prone to wander?
