The theme of this week has been Dao’s. If you have an opportunity, check out our write up on why Oracles need management DAO’s posted earlier this week. For Orfeed, Aragon was the choice for the organization. That said, we have also looked at other DAO protocols including Moloch Dao which has become the underlying codebase for many other DAO’s.

Currently, it looks like there is a rising tide surrounding the DAO. This means more people, more drama, and more opinions colliding and creating issues. Currently, the most popular tool for legislating DAO business are chat rooms in Telegram, Discord, or Slack. Given the hassles of trying to coordinate a big group of people from disparate backgrounds, some have begun creating old-school management tools for structuring and conceiving of a DAO.

At Proof, we have been having many discussions about the interactions of a DAO, our own initiatives, and trying to sort out all the ways people are creating organizations built from incentive mechanisms, tokens, and chatrooms. We would be more than happy to hear your own ideas in the comments or see your visionary ideas on Github!
