As part of the City of Zion’s charter to be a continually evolving foundation, an individual can spend at most two years on the leadership team. This ensures that new ideas and energy enter the council over time. As we approach a two year anniversary for CoZ, it also means that many of the original founders will be leaving the governing council.

Effective today, Michael de Wal (Totalvamp) will be stepping down from his role in the council. Many of you in the community are familiar with his work on the Neo discord bot and City of Zion developer portal. He will remain an active contributor within the community as an adviser and developer.

Jaime Kindelan (Belane) has been promoted to the open seat on City of Zion Council where he will lead ecosystem improvement projects and foundation direction. He is an IT security consultant and security analyst with more than 13 years of experience as a Development Operations & Security Project Manager leading Information Security teams for international corporations.

He is currently a developer and part of the security team of City of Zion, co-founder of Red4Sec Cybersecurity, member of the award-winning blog “Follow The White Rabbit” and university professor in the Master of Cybersecurity and in different courses of Introduction to world of hacking.

We look forward to working with Jaime in his new position and are excited for the community improvements that will result from his new role.
