Introducing Chaos Platform 2.0 for Azure
Turn failures into resilience with Proofdock’s Chaos Platform
After a year of hard work we are thrilled to announce the new version of our Chaos Platform. We’ve listened to our customers and incorporated the most desired features in the new release.
What’s new in Chaos Platform 2.0?
Simple GUI integrated into Azure DevOps
Chaos Platform 2.0 comes with an easy-to-use interface. Create attacks without writing a single line of code — select the type of attack, targeted resources or applications, and press run!
Azure resource attack
Attack your Azure resources using one of the available methods, such as stress CPU, burn IO or network latency, and observe whether your system withstands those turbulent conditions.
Application attacks
Inject turbulent conditions into your application. Delay or raise errors when handling requests, and apply additional conditions to decrease the blast radius of your attack.
Plug Chaos Middleware into your software and start chaos engineering on the application level.
Better integration with Azure and Azure DevOps
Chaos Platform 2.0 fully leverages capabilities of the Azure DevOps. Control access to Azure resources using Azure Service Connections and run your attack using Azure Pipelines.
Chaos Platform 2.0 is fully integrated with the well known Azure DevOps and Azure AD security mechanisms.
All attacks are performed using your pipelines and no secrets will ever be stored outside your environment.
No agents
All this comes with no interference into your cloud environment as you don’t have to install any additional software. Also, you don’t need to worry about security risks or 3rd party software running inside your cloud environment.
What’s next?
We are happy to announce that a brand new feature, attack scenarios, will be available on Chaos Platform 2.0 shortly. Scenarios will allow you to combine multiple attacks and verify the reliability of your system.
