Thank you for an amazing semester!!

This course has opened my mind to the endless possibilities propaganda can be applied to. Throughout the semester, I have encountered meaningful and impactful insights that have transformed the way I analyze propaganda. Before this course, I had limited knowledge of what propaganda is and how it is so effective in achieving several goals. I have identified five applications for propaganda in my thesis and have included several insights that stuck out to me. Essentially, I explore how propaganda is used to inform, influence, entertain, persuade, and harm large numbers of people in order to achieve specific goals. Additionally, I explore several techniques learned in this course that help make propaganda achieve specific goals and agendas. Similarly, I have included some additional sources from experts on the topic, as well as multiple remarks by Professor Hobbs. This essay presents an opportunity to explore how propaganda often employs techniques such as manipulating emotions, creating false narratives, and appealing to people’s biases. Propaganda can have a powerful impact on individuals and society as a whole, shaping opinions and influencing behavior

Ultimately, Propaganda has been a ubiquitous tool used to control the masses, and it has become so ingrained in our daily lives that we often don’t notice its influence. This essay explores five ways in which propaganda can impact the world and how it can be used to inform, influence, entertain, persuade, and harm large groups of people. Propaganda is often used to inform and educate the public, and it can be found in various mediums such as advertising, education, entertainment, journalism, politics, and activism. It is important to be aware of the influence of propaganda on our daily decisions and seek out diverse perspectives to avoid being manipulated by false or misleading information. Ultimately, propaganda is a powerful tool that can shape the course of history by influencing the beliefs and actions of the general public.
