Leap Project #3

Throughout this semester there have been many key insights that I have learned thoroughly. The five key insights this semester that really stood out to me as the most meaningful are fake news, conspiracy theories, propaganda in entertainment, patriotism and Nazi propaganda. The first key insight of fake news is all about learning how false misleading information is either good and sometimes bad. It will mainly swing towards the bad but then there are those freak accidents where it can be good. Conspiracy theories are these theories that are created in hops are harming someone or an entire entity as a whole. It uses harmful language mainly sometimes to hinder a certain political group. Propaganda in entertainment is something that I never knew was so prevalent. I watch movies and tv shows all the time but after thai semester it really had me thinking about all these movies. Every single movie almost has a reason for showing or having certain charters thinking a certain way. Like if trump was in a movie they of course are going to depict him in a way that whoever is in charge of that movie sees him. It is a way of using propaganda through the movie industry. Patriotism in propaganda is when a person influences certain beliefs towards a political side. America is known for this because there are such strong political views here. The last key insight is Nazi propaganda. I never knew before class that the Nazi party was such experts at using propaganda to their benefit to help take over the country of Germany. These are the key insights that I have learned and taken with throughout this semester.
