We lust over houses of famous writers, pore over a beautiful library or two in our Saturday blog pieces. We covet the writing huts and studies of others. We also selfishly seek to see the shelves in our homes, your homes and the homes that we’d love to call our home.

#1 — A floor to ceiling wall of books. A door through that wall of books. Looks pretty darn lovely to us. Who wouldn’t want a shelfie like this in their home and lives?

#2 — A dizzying birds-eye view of some seriously cool shelfies. CDs between the steps that lead you up through shelf after shelf of sniffable books. How inspired is this?

#3 — Yes, there is a heaven, and it’s quite possibly this room right here. Look at it. And just look at the shelfies laden with bookly goodness. Do you know where it is? You sing it, and I’ll play it!
