The space between this moment and the next is — theoretically — infinitely divisible. This means we always have an infinite number of points in time to pass through before we can even get to the next moment — and it is impossible to do an infinite number of things no matter how much time we have. This means that just getting to the end of the day — any day but perhaps especially yesterday — is an act of daring ignorance of science and mathematics.

It’s the same with making coffee.
