A Call To Persevere
A Facebook Memory that came up on my phone
What you are looking for is not out there, it is in you. ~ Unknown
I have been on social media for two years, and I have been asked what took me so long. Why did I choose to get on now? I can’t fully answer that but I can say I still have a lot to learn about it. I have boundaries with social media and all the things that go into protecting my mental health.
With that said January 5th, 2023 I posted some self-talk on Facebook, I did not think much about it after the fact. I found out Facebook has memories that will come up a year later. The memory that came up this January 5, 2024, was monumental because at the time I wrote it I felt like I needed to talk myself into greatness.
After I read it I knew I needed to publish this for someone. I knew that someone needed to know that some places in life are temporary, don’t build a house there. And you can speak life to yourself until your current mental or emotional health changes. And whoever needs to read these words I hope you realize they were written a year before you would need them.
The goodness of God is real, relevant and He is the only one that does not change. I hope you will be encouraged to speak to yourself when challenging days come. Feel free to share the words or save them for yourself.
The post:
I have life for a reason. I’m not random or regular not because I’m something great but the one who created me is. I will survive and thrive every plot against me known and unknown.
I’m not a victim, I’m victorious. I believe God even when life doesn’t go my way. I’m still going to win, I’m still going to give God praise. I’m not going to complain about everything that happens to me not because it doesn’t hurt, because it’s either life or a lesson.
It’s my turn. My blessing is not next it’s now. I’m not arrogant I’m aware. And the pain has been preparation and the rejection has been protection. You to good to get it wrong Father. Thank you for redirecting my mind, purpose and focus. In Jesus name.
Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world. It’s A Call to Persevere.
Let the journey begin…
