Prose about taking a pause and pondering on what’s important in life

I have been busy with life the last week. I enjoyed the much-needed time with my immediate and extended family during the Thanksgiving holiday in the US. I’ve had a lot of moments of reflection as I’ve wrapped up a few things before the New Year.

I typically complete any loose ends before December 31st. If I’m going to start any new projects I have already begun those in the fall. I plan most of my goals and life which helps me to stay disciplined in other areas as a person.

As I think about this prose Busy With Life I can’t help but reflect on the importance of taking a pause, pondering on what is most important and decreasing areas of stress where I can.

Busy with life, not too nice, take a moment to enjoy life.
Smile when you can it will make your day grand.
Don’t always look for what’s gone, what can be done?

Can you lend a hand, can you be a friend?
Hope can make you different you see, stop trying to stay so busy
and be. Life will give you enough, don’t be deceived.

Enjoy what you believe and don’t let life make you think it’s all in what you achieve. There is more to you than what people perceive, stop and reflect on what is right and don’t become so busy with life.
