Find Your Fun Again
Dying to live

I had a lot of fun in my childhood. I played outside every day, climbed trees, ran through fields, and felt free. I spent hours with friends. We played games, built cars from metal sheets and spent a lot of time outdoors playing and exploring the woods.
Those moments were priceless.
You probably had similar experiences. You rode bikes. You explored new places. You laughed a lot. You built things. You had sleepovers. You shared secrets. Childhood was full of excitement.
Life was simple and joyful, right?
I miss those carefree days. As adults, we lose that sense of fun. Responsibilities take over. We forget to play, not on purpose. Everything else becomes essential but fun. Work and chores fill our days. Stress and worries replace joy.
Weeks blur into months.
You blink, and another Christmas is here. Where did all the time go? Many people live but are not truly alive. They follow routines. They forget to have fun. They forget to enjoy life. If your life passes through a rigid structure for too long, you miss all the fun of life. You wake up, go to work, come home, and repeat. Relationships stagnate.
Life loses its spark. Days blend. Life feels dull.
But you can find that fun again.
Life is a gift. I don’t want to waste it on autopilot. I try to bring back childhood joy. I spend a lot of time outside work outdoors. I take trips with my family. I laugh as much as I can.
“A day without laughter is a day wasted,” comic actor Charlie Chaplin said. I take in experiences like it’s the last. It’s making life enjoyable. I believe fun is a “need” for a good life. It makes life rich. It brings happiness. It connects us with others.
You deserve to have fun.
Revisit your childhood joys. Enjoy life like you did as a child. You will feel happier and more alive. It’s not the same, but you will connect with your inner child. A beginner’s mind makes everything fun again. Find fun in everyday experience.
It’s hiding everywhere.
Notice the tiny details that make you come alive. Each small joy adds up. Life will feel fuller. Laugh more…
