The Challenge: Help students explore the way light and lenses work together to make vision possible.
The Tools: A classroom set of iPads, the Notability app, convex and concave lenses, and a light source.
The Assignment: Using the iPad camera, students take pictures of light travelling through various lenses, then import the pictures to their Notability app.
In Notability, students notate their photographs to show the way nearsightedness and farsightedness result from different interactions between lenses and light.
The result: Students never see the same way again.
