The Australian Open And Other Sports Prediction Event Report

Dear community, the Australian Open is over with another Novak Djokovic win! So, let’s recap the first week’s predictions and dive into numbers.

Numbers

During the first week of January, we introduced predictions on Tennis — 10 pools for the Australian Open, Basketball — 10 for the NBA, and Football — 9 for the major European leagues, or a total of 31 Pools in eight days!

The total volume predicted was 320 000 $PROS, most deriving from the NBA matches, and the top pool peaked at over 185 000 $PROS.

4000 $PROS were won by users at eight happy pools, with many more victories to come.

Updates And Improvements

UX

While providing you with predictive options, we kept improving the platform in terms of UX. Users can now “Like” pools to find them easily in their “Favorite” tab.

Rewards Distribution

All pool rewards are usually distributed when the pool ends, but this is not very convenient and takes much time. So, we have started working on a rewards distribution system upgrade. Soon our users will be able to claim rewards within a few hours after the happy pool’s end. The innovation will be quickly introduced, and the first claim will catch up with all the previously closed happy pools.

What’s Next — The Super Bowl Prediction Event

We have already launched our Super Bowl prediction event, which got off to a flying start with the two American football conferences’ finals, the Philadelphia Eagles — the San Francisco 49ers and the Kansas City Chiefs — the Cincinnati Bengals, already totaling 20 000 $PROS predicted.

For this event, we have decided to test a new model of an extra-long pool with intermediary & final rewards. We’ll announce the Super Bowl pool soon, so stay tuned.

During this period, we will keep having pools for other sports and introduce new competitions.
