[TUTORIAL] Predict on PROSPER with POLYGON ($MATIC)
Here’s a guide to start predicting on Prosper prediction pools using the POLYGON network and its $MATIC token.

Step 1 : Get Metamask
Prosper is a non-custodial platform, which means you will need your own wallet and connect it to the platform. We recommend using Metamask.
In case you don’t have Metamask yet, please download metamask extension for your browser here : Download metamask
Follow the steps to open your own metamask account.
Step 2 : Set up Polygon Network on Metamask
Once your Metamask wallet is ready, you will have to manually add the Polygon chain to it, as Metamask is natively set up on the Ethereum network.
To do so, click on the “Account” picture (1) then “Settings” (2)
In “Settings” go to “Networks” (3) then click on “Add Network” (4)
In the “Network” window, paste the following parameters :
- Network Name: Polygon Network
- New RPC URL: https://rpc-mainnet.matic.network
- ChainID: 137
- Symbol: MATIC
- Explorer: https://explorer.matic.network/
Then click on “Save” (5) and verify the Polygon Network has been properly added to you networks (6)
You can switch networks by using the drop-down menu from the top of your Metamask (7). If not selected yet, select Polygon Network.
Your Metamask is now set up on the Polygon Network !
Step 3 : Set up your Matic Wallet
If you want to send some $MATIC to your Metamask Wallet, you will need to bridge the tokens bought on exchanges to the Polygon Mainnet. To do so, you will need a Matic Wallet.
Download it here : https://wallet.matic.network.
Follow the steps to create your wallet and log in using your metamask account.
Step 4: Send $MATIC to your Metamask Wallet on ETH network (ERC20 tokens)
You can now send $MATIC tokens from any CEX to your Metamask ETH network adress.
You can copy your metamask adress by clicking on it in your metamask (8).
For example from Binance :
In your Binance account, click on “Withdraw” next to your MATIC Binance wallet, then set up your transaction by pasting your Metamask adress (9) then selecting ETH transfer (10). Enter the amount you want to transfer and click Submit. Confirm your transaction through your 2FAs.
Note : There is a minimum amount required to send Matics from Binance.
Step 5: Bridge your $MATICs to the Polygon mainnet
On your Matic Wallet, Click on Move funds to Matic Mainnet (11) then switch to Matic token (12), select the amount you want to bridge and Transfer (13) then Continue.
Warning : you will need ETH on your Metamask in order to approve bridge transfer of your $MATIC tokens to the Polygon mainnet.
You should soon be able to see your $MATICs on the Polygon Mainnet.
Step 6 : Connect Metamask to Prosper platform
This is the last step before you can start predicting !

Click on the Connect Wallet Button (14)
That’s it ! You’re in and ready to Predict using your $MATIC tokens !

Step 6 : Connect Metamask to Prosper platform
Please connect to the Prosper Platform at matic.prosper.so through the Metamask embedded browser for better synchronization with your Metamask Wallet.
