Fighting Against Circumstances
by Randy Gage
You often hear people complaining about the circumstances they are fighting. But that’s like fighting symptoms and ignoring the cause.
As James Allen would tell us, that is fighting an effect, all the while you are nourishing and preserving the cause that is in your heart. Now that cause could be a conscious habit like alcohol, other drugs or a gambling addiction. Or an unconscious belief like thinking you are not worthy, money is bad, or that it is spiritual to be poor. Unless and until you deal with the cause, the effect is going to keep coming back.
So think about any challenges you’re facing right now. Are you fighting the circumstances, or dealing with the actual cause?
