Make Your Dream as Big as You Are

No one who achieved a breakthrough accomplishment did so by holding tiny, incremental dreams, the kind many people label “sensible.” If you desire to do something remarkable, you need bold, daring, and imaginative dreams: Dreams that create a compelling, almost magnetic pull upon you. The dream must be powerful enough that you throw the sheets off in the morning, eager with anticipation to go for it. Magnetic dreams like this help you create the right goals for yourself and provide the map to guide you to bring them to fruition.

If your dream is created for virtue signaling, to appease someone else, or to fill in the space in a workbook, it will have no magnetic pull. As soon as you face serious resistance in achieving it, you’ll likely crumple like a cheap suit. You want to build a compelling dream that pulls you toward it, through the difficult times.

It doesn’t serve you or the universe to play small. Humility is a virtue, but false modesty or holding back from your highest good is anti-prosperity. Muscles that aren’t exercised will atrophy; dreams, visions, and desires operate in the same way.

Your dream needs to be as big as you are.

And that’s really big. Because you don’t want to create a dream for the current version of you. You need a dream big enough to tantalize the future version of you, the highest possible version of yourself. If your dream isn’t contagious, courageous, and outrageous — you’re just not being realistic.

If your dream doesn’t scare you a little, create a bigger one. Because the bigger you make your dream, the bigger your dream makes you.

Peace,

- RG
